Knock-off knitting
This is another old photo, rescued from my camera after my computer died.

I saw it in a shop window in Cheltenham and loved it. It looks like it would be fairly easy to knit, the collar would probably be the hardest part. It looks like all shaping is taken care of by the ribbing. It also looks like the collar just grows out of the button band. Like maybe you finish the rest of the cardi, pick up a load of stitches for button band and collar, and it looks like a clever transition from garter to reverse stockinette to go from button band to collar. Hmm, I am really thinking of giving it a go.
The alternative would be to knit this:

Lush and Lacy Cardigan, from Sweaterbabe.com. Except I would make it less lush, and more wooly. I actually think it would look great in organic cotton too. A much better photo can be found of kvp’s version on Ravelry.
Christmas knitting has commenced, although I still don’t know how much I’ll do. I have bought gifts in mind for most people anyway.
